Affiliate Disclosure

How Noble Notary earns commissions from third-party partners, and how we maintain editorial independence in the reviews and recommendations we publish.

Last Updated: July 15, 2026  ·  Effective Date: January 1, 2024  ·  Applies to: legaldocprepnotary.com and affiliated Noble Notary properties

1. Plain-English Summary

Some of the links on legaldocprepnotary.com are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, subscription, or sign-up on the linked third-party website, Noble Notary may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. That commission is paid by the merchant, not by you.

We only recommend products and services we believe are legitimate, useful, and appropriately priced for the audience we serve. Our editorial opinions are not influenced by whether a merchant pays a commission. When we compare products, we tell you the trade-offs honestly — including situations where you should choose a competitor’s product or skip the purchase entirely.

Bottom line: If you buy through our affiliate links, thank you — those commissions help keep this site running and let us continue publishing free educational content. If you don’t, we still appreciate you reading and hope the information is useful.

2. Why This Disclosure Exists

This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidelines under Title 16, Part 255 of the Code of Federal Regulations (16 CFR Part 255), which require online publishers to clearly and conspicuously disclose material connections between endorsers and the sellers of endorsed products.

A “material connection” includes financial arrangements such as affiliate commissions, sponsored placements, free or discounted product access, and paid partnerships. Where such a connection exists on any Noble Notary page, we disclose it — both on the individual page where the affiliate link appears and here on this master disclosure page.

3. How Affiliate Relationships Work

An affiliate relationship is a marketing arrangement between a publisher (Noble Notary) and a merchant (for example, US Legal Forms, LegalZoom, or a remote online notary platform). When a visitor clicks an affiliate link on our site and completes a qualifying action on the merchant’s site — typically a purchase, subscription, or account signup — the merchant pays Noble Notary a commission.

Commission structures vary by merchant. Some pay a fixed dollar amount per signup, some pay a percentage of the first purchase, some pay recurring commissions for as long as the customer remains a paying subscriber. We are typically compensated through third-party affiliate networks that handle the tracking and payment:

  • FlexOffers — the primary affiliate network we use, which connects publishers with a large catalog of legal, financial, and business service merchants.
  • Direct merchant affiliate programs — where a merchant runs their own affiliate program without a network intermediary.
  • Amazon Associates — where product recommendations link to Amazon.

The commission does not increase what you pay. Your price is identical whether you reach the merchant through an affiliate link, a search engine, or by typing the merchant’s URL directly.

4. Categories of Affiliate Partners We Work With

Noble Notary maintains affiliate relationships with merchants across the following categories. This list is not exhaustive and changes over time; individual page-level disclosures will identify the specific merchant being promoted on any given page.

  • Legal forms & template providers. Subscription-based legal form libraries such as US Legal Forms, and one-off template marketplaces.
  • Bankruptcy self-help software. Standard Legal Network and similar consumer bankruptcy filing tools.
  • Uncontested divorce services. OnlineDivorce and similar do-it-yourself divorce document providers.
  • Remote online notarization (RON) platforms. Notarize.com, Proof, BlueNotary, and other online notary service providers.
  • Business formation services. LLC and corporate formation providers, registered agent services, and EIN filing services.
  • Legal software & SaaS tools. Practice management, document automation, and eSignature platforms (pdfFiller, signNow, and similar).
  • Notary supplies and training. Bonds, stamps, journals, errors-and-omissions insurance, and notary/signing-agent certification courses.
  • Financial and insurance services. Life insurance quote comparison, annuity information, and related financial-planning tools (where permitted by our licensing).
  • General retail via Amazon Associates. Books, office supplies, and other consumer products relevant to our content.

5. How We Choose Which Partners to Recommend

Not every merchant that offers us a commission gets recommended on our site. Our criteria for including an affiliate partner in our published content:

  • The merchant serves a real, documented need for the audience we serve (do-it-yourself legal document buyers, small business owners, real estate participants, estate-planning individuals).
  • The pricing is defensible relative to alternatives and the value delivered.
  • The merchant has an established track record and legitimate customer support.
  • Refund and cancellation policies are reasonable and honored.
  • We would recommend the merchant to a friend or family member in the same situation.

Where we cannot meet all five of the above conditions, we do not publish the affiliate link, regardless of the commission offered.

6. Editorial Independence

Our Reviews Are Not for Sale

Merchant commissions do not determine the tone, direction, or conclusions of our reviews and recommendations. We regularly publish content that identifies limitations, drawbacks, and situations where a merchant is not the right fit — even when doing so may reduce the number of visitors who click through and generate commissions.

We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage. We do not remove or modify honest criticism of a merchant’s product in response to complaints, threats, or requests from the merchant. If a merchant terminates our affiliate relationship because of an honest review, we consider that a good outcome — we would rather serve our readers than serve the merchant.

Where we make specific factual claims about a merchant’s product (pricing, features, terms), we verify those claims against the merchant’s current published materials before publishing. Pricing and feature information can change; readers should confirm current details on the merchant’s official site before purchasing.

7. Cookies and Affiliate Tracking

Affiliate links use HTTP cookies and, in some cases, browser fingerprinting to track the referral from our site to the merchant’s site. The typical tracking window ranges from 24 hours to 90 days depending on the merchant — meaning if you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase within that window, we receive credit for the referral.

You can opt out of affiliate tracking by clearing your browser cookies, using private/incognito browsing mode when clicking affiliate links, or using a browser or extension that blocks third-party tracking cookies. Doing so will not affect the price you pay on the merchant’s site.

8. Third-Party Advertising

In addition to affiliate relationships, certain Noble Notary properties may display third-party display advertising served through networks such as Google AdSense. These ads are not affiliate placements — they are served algorithmically based on the visitor’s browsing behavior and the content of the page. Noble Notary does not select which specific advertisers appear, and the presence of an ad is not an endorsement.

The main legaldocprepnotary.com website does not currently display third-party display ads. Affiliated content properties (such as AgeMyPet.com) may display AdSense advertising, which is disclosed on those individual properties.

9. Noble Notary’s Own Products vs. Affiliate Recommendations

Noble Notary sells its own state-specific legal document templates, notary services, mobile notary appointments, apostille services, and educational courses. These are our own products — not affiliate relationships — and the full purchase price goes to Noble Notary.

Where a Noble Notary product and an affiliate-linked third-party product serve the same buyer need, we typically disclose both options and recommend based on the specific circumstances (number of forms needed, budget, use case). We do this because different buyers have genuinely different best-fit answers — and steering every visitor to our own products when a third-party alternative is a better fit would harm the trust that makes our recommendations valuable in the first place.

10. Not Legal Advice

Nothing on legaldocprepnotary.com — including affiliate-linked reviews and recommendations — constitutes legal advice. Noble Notary is a Florida-registered nonlawyer document preparation service. We are not attorneys and cannot advise you on the legal implications of using any specific product, service, template, or document.

Affiliate-linked products (whether legal forms libraries, bankruptcy software, divorce services, or other legal-adjacent tools) are self-help tools intended for straightforward situations. Complex, contested, or high-stakes matters require consultation with a licensed attorney in the applicable jurisdiction. The Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service can be reached at (800) 342-8011.

11. Trademark and Attribution

All merchant names, logos, and brand elements referenced on legaldocprepnotary.com — whether in affiliate content or elsewhere — are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive and informational purposes under nominative fair use principles. No sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with any referenced merchant is implied beyond the affiliate relationships specifically disclosed on this page and on the individual page where the reference appears.

12. Changes to This Disclosure

Noble Notary reserves the right to update this affiliate disclosure at any time to reflect new partnerships, changes in the law, or improvements in our disclosure practices. Material changes will be noted with an updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of legaldocprepnotary.com after any such update constitutes acceptance of the revised disclosure.
