Ohio Notary Public Loan Signing Agent Training
The Ohio Secretary of State’s office commissions and maintains records of all notaries public in Ohio. With the initial application, you must complete an Ohio background check. Once the check is complete you can submit it with the application and required contact info back to the SOS website. After this applicants must complete 3 hours of required testing and training at designated locations, The fee is $130 and the list of locations can be found here.

A notary public may charge a fee of $5.00 per act for any notarial act that is not an online notarization and $25.00 for an online notarial act. The fee is per the notarial act, not per signature.
However you may charge additional fees for offering mobile services and conducting real estate closings such as refinances, purchases, etc.
